We had the absolute pleasure of having Avril from Chef 2 Dine 4 cater our wedding on 24th May in Kelling, and we couldn’t be more delighted with the experience. From the very start, Avril and her team were incredibly helpful, attentive, and thoroughly professional. Nothing was too much trouble, and they ensured everything ran smoothly on the day.

The food was simply outstanding. Avril prepared three different types of skewers, all cooked to perfection on the BBQ, which were a real hit with our guests. The accompanying selection of fresh, vibrant salads and her delicious homemade focaccia added a wonderful variety to the meal, with everything presented beautifully and tasting fantastic.

Avril’s calm and friendly manner, combined with her team’s efficiency and warmth, helped to create a relaxed and joyful atmosphere – exactly what we had hoped for on our special day. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food and the service, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chef 2 Dine 4 to anyone looking for exceptional catering for a special event.

Just WOW! Could not have asked for anything more. Avril was just fantastic in every way. From her patience to all my questions before and when booking, to the superb menu choices, our evening was perfect.

We had a wonderful evening for my dad’s surprise birthday celebration meal at our holiday in Norfolk. He is a real foody and eats at amazing restaurants and he was so blown away by the presentation and taste of Avril’s food. She was so calm juggling so many dishes and still had time to chat to us whilst we watched in amazement at her making the desserts.

Avril really is the perfect chef, not only with the amazing food but making the atmosphere so warm and lovely and being so friendly and upbeat. Our lovely waitress was amazing too, seeing to the children and making sure they were ok and had everything. This is something we’ve always wanted to do and so glad we found Avril. The kitchen was left so clean and tidy. Will 100% be booking again when we next visit Norfolk. Thank you so much Avril, absolute perfection 

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to Avril and her team. On first meeting Avril myself and my husband were blown away by her talent and genuine enthusiasm for her job. She cooked us a beautiful meal in our home which stood her as an easy choice as caterer of our wedding. The food she delivered was delicious and she made it look effortless and natural.

Avril was a huge part of our wedding and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the day, and indeed the lead up, went as smoothly as possible. Avril offered reassurance when I needed it and advised me on several occasions, offering professional advise which was very welcome! By the time of the wedding Avril had gone out of her way to visit me and ensure I was comfortable and fully prepared for the big day, she became a very welcome guest with all the help she brought. She was far more than just a caterer!

Avril is not afraid of a challenge! On the days leading up to the wedding Avril and her team worked extremely hard to make the venue look beautiful and even when other workers for the wedding let us down Avril was able to smooth over a bad situation and rectify any problems that we faced! I do not honestly know what I would have done without her, I owe her a lot for the way that the day turned out, perfectly.

Her food was well presented and delicious, we received countless compliments on the food and its delivery. Avril and her team worked in a difficult environment, an extremely hot marquee, but still managed to Wow us and our guests as we knew she would. It would be an understatement to say that I recommend chef2dine4 as a caterer, I would settle for no less!

Amazing, incredible, fantastic are just a few adjectives to describe the service and quality of Avril's Chef2Dine 4 experience. Avril catered for twelve of us for two nights when we were staying at Incleborough House, Cromer.

The cold buffet for our first night was just first class, beautifully presented and Avril's team were so attentive to our needs. The quality, quantity and selection was perfect.

The second night we had an absolutely superb formal three course meal. Everything was prepared in the kitchen from fresh, it was cooked and presented just so well. Every one in our group were very impressed with every aspect of our meal.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Avril for what ever function you are arranging. First Class. Thank you again. You catered for a bunch who are not always easily pleased but I heard nothing but praise from each and everyone of them.

Perhaps they might want to come back next year. If they do I will most certainly be knocking on your door. Wishing you all the very best.

Dear Avril, Just a short note to say thank-you for making our wedding anniversary dinner so special.

Having decided that we were unable to go out to a restaurant for our anniversary meal as we would normally, a moment of inspiration prompted me to enquire if you could provide a meal for two at our home.

Well, what a superb four-course meal you served, beautifully presented, beautifully cooked and most of all, it all tasted wonderful.

It transformed what we thought would be a compromise evening into a really memorable occasion.

And furthermore, when taking into consideration what we would normally have spent on a couple of taxis together with some "expensive" wine, but at supermarket prices, we even saved some money!

We will certainly do this again.

We all had a great week-end at Kings Beck and it was made all the more special by your truly delicious 3 course meal on Sat, it was the highlight of our weekend. I was a little anxious not knowing how you would organise dinner but I was extremely impressed with the way you managed to create and present such beautiful dishes of outstanding quality . To see the kitchen looking clear and clean after such a gourmet meal was very pleasing.

We spent most of Sunday praising you, your team and your food.

We had booked Sunday lunch at Black Boys but with the selection of leftover vegetables and a lasagne brought for Friday evening to enjoy, we cancelled our booking.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to any of our friends who would consider a chef to cook.

Andy and I just wanted to express our heartfelt thanks for what you did for us. Although a simple "thank you" hardly seems enough!

To step into the breach the way you did and rescue our son & daughter-in-law's wedding breakfast plans as you did was impressive to say the least! You don't expect to get let down by your chef with less than 3 weeks to go to your wedding, but I have to say it's the best thing that could have happened as you took charge without hesitation and with the menu already having been decided you were able to adhere to that with your own variations here and there.

On the day you and your staff were Simply Amazing! The food and service for both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet were fantastic and every single guest was impressed!

We would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone we know! and even people we don't know!  So again, Avril many many thanks for providing us with such a perfect day and we look forward to working with you again in the future.

We had our wedding reception in a barn and wanted the food to be a central part of the occasion and complement the rustic and authentic feel of the venue, so finding the right caterer was a key priority in our wedding planning.

We feel really lucky to have discovered Avril. Her amazing food and brilliant attitude really made the day. She made delicious canapés, hog roast with stuffing and crackling and beef sirloin. She did the freshest dressed salmon I've ever tasted. To accompany this she presented a great selection of salads and wonderful home-made bread.

Then we came to dessert. Avril's hot chocolate fudge cake with hot chocolate sauce and home-made vanilla ice-cream became the talking point of the evening, and her lemon tarte with raspberry coulis is divine!

The service was also spot on. Teresa and the waitresses were calm and professional and went above and beyond to help us keep to our timings and accommodate our guests.

From our first meeting in April to the big day in October, Avril was incredibly enthusiastic and organised. She had a busy summer, but whenever we called, emailed or met her, she made us feel like our wedding was the only event in her diary this year.

She was creative and helpful in putting our menu together, but relaxed and flexible when I kept changing my mind!

Avril was our rock! We cannot recommend her highly enough.

If you're into great food and enjoy going to the best restaurants but have a family and not many willing babysitters then you HAVE to get Avril round. We rented self catering accommodation for a short break and Avril was rec commended to us by the owner. It was my parents' 40th wedding anniversary and we wanted to treat them to a nice meal. We gave her a call, asked her to include a few favourites on the menu and hey presto! She arrived laden with homemade goodies, delighted us from one course to the next and THEN cleaned up afterwards! It was BLISS! Don't let a holiday in Norfolk go by without giving Avril a call, she is a must!

I have no hesitation in recommending Avril at Chef2Dine4.

We were a family party of 18 and needed a Chef who could provide us with a delicious and memorable 3 course sit down dinner party, whilst accommodating a vegetarian, a gluten free, an nut allergy and a fussy 12 year old diets.  Avril dealt with all of those with absolutely no fuss and didn’t compromise the quality of our meal.

Each course was delicious.   All our guests were very impressed with the choices on the menu which I forwarded to Avril a week before our event.

Avril and her excellent waiting staff arrived on the dot, quietly setting themselves up in the kitchen and they were ready for us to sit down at 8 pm as requested.  They had laid the table up beautifully.  They had noticed my Mother was in a wheelchair and very considerately laid a convenient setting for her.

When we had finished our meal, Avril and staff clearer the decks and left the kitchen spotless!

It was the first time we’d used Avril and would definitely use her again.  She has a lovely warm personality as well as being an extremely professional and talented Chef.

We cannot recommend Chef2Dine4 enough.

When we started to plan our  wedding we had no hesitation booking Avril to do the catering for our big day. We were so pleased that she was free which was a concern as she is always so busy!

From the on set AVRIL was so helpful and we even had a meal tasting evening where she cooked some sample meals for us at her house  to help us decide on our menu choices!  Nothing has been too much trouble, going above and beyond to make everything run smoothly on our big day

Everything was all home made, every detail thought through and  guests with allergies were catered for!

From the delicious selection of hot and cold canapés down to the  3 course hot meal and followed by the decadent trio of deserts, all mouth watering and definitely to DIE FOR!! 

As if that’s wasn’t enough Avril then served up a selection of home made breads, pickles, meats and cheeses, to name a few, all served on platters creating  a wonderful grazing table for our evening buffet.

We can not  thank Avril enough for all her attention to detail, her passion and energy, her ability to create such wonderful food. All our guests were in awe and could not believe that she prepared and cooked everything herself from scratch.

We can not praise her enough and highly recommend her cooking  talents to anyone looking for a chef for any occasion. With out doubt, Chef2dine4 will not let you down and we can promise you, you won’t be disappointed 🙂
